The ex-CIA security wasn’t supposed to be there shooting at the would be kidnappers.

 the Dems are going to make this about resources and the political conditions in the Middle East. This is crap. As someone who worked in the State Department for 28 years, I can see this is just a transparent attempt to increase the budget by taking advantage of the Benghazi attack. Resources had nothing to do with the security status of the facility or the cover-up. The Dems will not pursue any tough questions and the Reps are so far just going thru the motions.

Did anyone ask her why they weren’t on top of things in that region AFTER Bengazi? Why the same faction of Al Queda was allowed to pull off a hostage/terror attack near the Libyan border. Haven’t they improved their “intelligence” gathering and security?

I'm so completely cynical after the recent election... I think Hillary will come off these Benghazi smelling like a rose - as usual.

Looking ahead, I think regardless of who the GOP runs in 2016 Hillary will be our next President. I know too many Independent women (and even a few Republican women) who just can't wait for Hillary to be our first female President. These women tend to be somewhat conservative overall, but just mention Hillary, and they get all dewey-eyed. They don't listen to me when I say she will continue the same leftist, damaging policies that Obama (and every other democRAT) has put in place. They "love" Hillary and feel sorry for her. I don't get it.

The clips that WTIC 1080 AM radio (Hartford, CT) chose to run during their 12 noon news break: Hillary saying "I take full responsibility..." and Hillary tearing up when talking about how she greeted the family members at the funeral of Amb. Chris Stevens and the others. *barf*

I'm sorry to be such a downer, but I think we're screwed. Hillary will get off scot-free from Benghazi-gate, and will be elected president in 2016.

I paid very close attention at the beginning of the hearing to see if she would be placed under oath or not. She came into the room, did some glad-handing with members of the committee, and sat down at the table. The chairman then called the committee to order. He then gave his opening remarks, followed by the minority opening remarks, followed by Hillary’s opening remarks. Then questioning began. I was yelling at the tv, “Why is she not under oath?”
