Summary: Polls show Obama has a 20%+ lead among women over Romney.
Hold on to your hats, folks.
"Repeal the 19th."
I’m with you, and I’m a woman. If most women are that dumb, they don’t deserve to vote.
*
When the real campaign starts, there won’t be a person in America that doesn’t recognize Obama and his party as the party of the angry black man....bank on it.
*
The state run “media” sure is making women look dumb. Women need to rise up and tell them to knock it off with this kind of lying crap.
*
"As my political mentor Mary Jane Hollyday said about the earlier days of this Republic, “you all had the right thing going...women and %*^^@#s should have stayed out of it”."
Yep.
The 19th Amendment was the turning point in the history of the US. After that, government just got bigger and bigger and more intrusive... because women kept up the drumbeat for more, more, more, more.
It isn’t just the US, BTW. If you can read German or French, check out some of the writing on this topic in Switzerland. Same results. Women want government to be their Sugar Daddy. There are, of course, exceptions, but where we’re talking about the majority of women... they like their Sugar Daddy big and intrusive.
*
My own daughter warned me about this when she was in high school, a good conservative as I raised her. I tried to defend the 19th Amendment by pointing out smart girls such as her. She retorted that the airheads in her class had her kind outnumbered at least 2-1.
*
Fake poll with fake results.
Look at the source and look at the lack of internals. Let’s just remember the devastatingly poor polls that came out on Obummer last week with Likely Voters. This is the Obummer MSM manufacturing news to make him look electable. He is not.
*
Separate this into “married” and “single/divorced” and you’ll see where the problem lies.
Women are wired to seek a provider and protector, and if it’s not their father or husband, they look to the government.
*
Women have always voted 60-40% for the democrat. The founding fathers knew that women would instinctively vote for security over freedom which is why they didn’t give them the right to vote.
They can’t help it. It’s primordial instinct. Fortunately, 40% of them have evolved but that’s still the minority.
*
I think it’s pretty common among liberal women and SOME very gullible independent women. I have discussed this and overheard some conversations among women I go to school with that have them asserting that the Republicans are evil and out to “send women back to the dark ages,” kind of talk.
Republican women — much less gullible and not easily swayed, of course.
Some women, seriously, seem to have brains the size of peas.
*
The real gap is the marriage gap. The so-called gender gap is mostly caused by single women. Married women are more Republican than single men. The biggest gap of all is between single men and single women.
*
My sister-in-law, a terrific person, always voted Dem until she married my brother and brought a son in the world. She has used words such as “embarrassed” when she remembers some of the libs she help elect.
*
Santorum not only split the vote, he is now determined to drag this out, knowing that he can't even force a contested convention now.
This guy is the most clueless, arrogant, self absorbed jerk in the history of American Politics. He will ruin us all.
*
Unfortunately, to some women, especially single ones, government is Daddy, Husband, Lover and Provider all rolled up into one.
*
Women are “wired” that way.
The ‘rats and their mentor, Satan, knew what they were doing when they destroyed the support structure called “marriage” and “family”.
The title should say “Boosted by SINGLE AND DIVORCED women voters...”
*
Women have been voting for Democrats for years. If it weren't for this gender gap Democrats would lose every presidential election. Anyone who dismisses this poll is kidding themselves. Is it likely to be this bad come November? No. Is it possibly really this bad now? Yes. And come election day Obama will win the women's vote - probably by at least 5 points or more.
A simple look at wikipedia shows this persistence of this gender gap:
"In every presidential election year from 1980 - 2008 women have outnumbered men in voting Democratic and the same is true for men outnumbering women voting Republican. From 1980 forward there is a definitive difference in partisanship between male and female voters."
Part of the problem right now is Rick Santorum's actual opposition to contraception ended up confusing what should have been a winning issue for Republicans. Instead of talking about why Republicans support protecting religious organizations from being forced to cover contraception, the debate ended up being about why some Republicans (most notably Santorum) believe contraception is "not okay". If the question is whether birth control is "not okay", Republicans lose and lose big. If it is about protecting religious institutions from having to cover it, we win.
*
A lot of the women I know politically are mostly selfish, self centered, ditzes who only care about abortion, birth control, etc.
*
“Women. Can’t live with them, can’t ship them to Canada...”
No, but we can import better models. :)
Sure glad we gave them the vote.
*
Want to see the OBAMA voters? Simply tune in and check out the audiences on WWE, Maury Povich, Steve Wilkos, and Jerry Springer Shows and you will see all the OBAMA voters you will ever want to see in your lifetime.
*
Young single women want to go on killing their unborn babies. And now they really believe evil Republicans are going to completely ban contraception. The Fluke contraception deception worked perfectly.
*
"Women voters in general are easily scammed."
That they are. I’m here to tell you — they’re buying this issue hook, line, and sinker. Bunches of women I know are convinced that EVIL Republicans have only one agenda ...and that is to make birth control ILLEGAL in this country.
I kid you not. They are convinced. Rational, otherwise intelligent women. This flat out LIE has worked like a charm.
But, who is surprised. America has and is going down due to this very issue at the heart of it. We’ve contracepted ourselves so much that we’ve had to import workers. We have aborted so many we dont’ have a tax paying base anymore to support all the elderly OR the freeloading immigrants. Radical feminism has done its trick on this country ...and continues to do so, destroying marriage, family, and a strong moral base. Why be surprised? Many Women are in love with themselves and their own power and new-found freedom to screw up their lives with oblivion.

"Read the results closer. It points out that the main reason is because of the rhetoric Santorum is spewing, is giving these women the idea that Republicans will take away Contraceptives.."
Santorum is a bad reflection on all Republican candidates. His yammering on about having a national conversation about why contraception is "not okay" hurts all Republicans.
*
Santorum needs to man up, stop being selfish and get the hell out.
If Santorum were an actual good conservative candidate that didn't yammer on about contraception being "not okay", then I'd think it was great he was staying in and forcing Romney to earn the nomination. Unfortunately, Rick's belief that it is the President's job to have a national conversation on why contraception is "not okay" confuses the issue of the healthcare mandate and tarnishes all Republicans. His continued presence in the race just makes it easy for the media to lampoon all Republicans as being a party of backward old prudes that want to stop people from using rubbers and birth control pills. Once Santorum leaves the national stage and we can focus on the real problem of forcing religious organizations to insure that which they have a religious objection to, the gender gap problem will subside somewhat.
*
Radical feminism has done its trick on this country ...
And it all began with Betty Friedan, a Communist cadre who left college to work for a big Communist labor-union newspaper.
(She said later in a women's-magazine story I read, that she left college to follow a man, her boyfriend, who dumped her. Bullshine. She was a Communist, and the Party called her and put her to work on Feminism.)
*
This is why the Democrats want there to be as many "single mothers" as possible.
Government is their Sugar Daddy.
*
I think we are buying into the media narrative that MOST women are reflexively pro government supplied-abortion and birth control. The reality is more complicated. For example, polls indicate that a majority of married women are opposed to government subsidized abortion. Women DO tend to lean toward politicians who are for “peace” and “helping the poor.” And a candidate who displays “emotion” is likely to garner the distaff vote: Romney and Obummer are a wash there. And why this obsession with the women’s vote? Don't men count at all?
*
All Republicans are being tarred by Santorum’s ignorant rhetoric. The sooner he’s gone, the better.
*
I know I sound a bit harsh, but I cannot believe the Left has us conditioned to be so fearful and accepting of their bull sh*t!
Sorry, but this notion that women (with the exception of liberal hags) are all of a sudden supporting our Marxist-in-Cheif is complete and utter B.S.! I still cannot believe how compliant FReepers are to this crap!
Just wow.
*
Woman — Being fooled by snakes since the garden.
*
Another lie. What woman wants to be ruled by men and wear a burka?
*
Where do they find these women that will rally around a fool that is destroying the future of their children? I’m beside myself.
*
“Where do they find these women that will rally around a fool that is destroying the future of their children?”
The women I know that have children will be angrily voting against him because of those children; the few women I know that will still vote for Obama happen to be childless (and spinsters).
What do these freaks think we tell our children about Obama, his policies, and his followers? My kids are all ears; they find it fascinating.
I don't think I have any words. Just...wow.
ReplyDeleteNo wonder women are fleeing the party in droves - they don't have to put up with this shit if they do.
But don't you dare call them misogynists...
