Chris Christie said Obama handled Hurricane Sandy well, but he's going to vote for Mitt Romney because he still thinks Romney is the better man for the job. In FreeRepublic, that makes him like the lovechild of Benedict Arnold and Judas.
Too late, fatso. When the future of the free world is at stake, if
you don’t have something negative to say, don’t say anything at all.
There is a big picture here...
*
Too late Crispy. You have become persona non grata in the Republican Party.
If Mitt loses, you are 100% responsible.
*
It would have been one thing if Obama had actually done a good job, but Christie knows that’s not the case.
*
Chris Christie is an ass. He may have added anywhere from 2-3 points to
Obama with his stupid asinine comments praising Obama for doing that
he’s supposed to do and they were only words not actions.
*
I sure wish we could fix all of the world’s problems with just one half
hour helicopter ride. I mean, the “messiah” flew over the disaster area
and everything was solved. Fluking amazing!
*
The tough talking governor could not handle a crisis. He had an
emotional breakdown. It is understandable but it shows he is not
suitable for a larger office. Any national aspirations he had will not
happen unless he becomes a Democrat. The Modern Democratic Party does
not seem to mind having weak leaders.

I was a huge CC fan. I was moved by his speech at the Reagan
library... I especially remember when a mother of a teenage girl pleaded
with him to run for the love of country...
I admit I am more of a social liberatarian and fiscally and
militarily hawkish and so I fancied CC as being in the mold of a
Guiliani.
regardless of our differences... it is an absolute no brainer that
King Hussein must be defeated. CC could have been polite and cordial to
barry but to go overboard and humiliate himself like he did...
I will never ever forget this betrayal.
I will never vote for CC. He is finished in the GOP as far as I am concerned.

Donald Trump needs to go talk to that boy.
Stop saying Obama’s a nice man because he’s not.
*
What specifically did Obama do that was a “good job”?
*
If Christie made his comment a year ago, would the reaction be the
same as it is now? I think not. It is the political season that puts
“everything” under the microscope to fill the 24 hour news cycle.
Now, don’t get me wrong. I am not a Christie Fan Boy, hell, I don’t
even live on the East Coast. I just think this is all much ado. After
Romney wins on Tuesday, everyone can relax a bit and re-gain their
breath before cleaning out the stench filled horse stalls of the Obama
administration
*
What's done is done. I wasn't pleased about it... but at the same
time, it's important to not let the media play us for fools with this
"Obama is surging with independents because of Sandy" nonsense. If the
country is really to the point where people will overlook four
disastrous years, and vote for a president mostly because he visited a
state for an hour and shook somebody's hand... then the country is lost.
But I highly doubt that.
Besides, the Sandy situation is slowly turning into another debacle...

I have relatives that still have no power, can only buy $30 worth of gas
if there's any left when they finally get to the station, and if they
hadn't of stocked up would be running short on food and water.
What exactly did Obama do?
*
yes mitt will win, but nj , nyc, and the other states without power
still and major damage need help now, can’t wait for jan 20th for help
to come with inaug of mitt.
I back christie’s reasoning, though not all his words - a bit over
the top for my likling, but he did his bidding for help for those in nj
some of which strongly effected are my relatives.

"that Obama did while responding to the historical storm "
Well, the storm is historical, since it is now part of history.
But clearly, they meant "historic", which the storm really wasn't. It's
not like we haven't been hit by category 1 hurricanes before, or that
New Jersey has never before seen a hurricane.
The damage costs
are historic, but mostly because the last storm that hit New Jersey did
so before they built a major industry in a place where it would
inevitably be hit by a hurricane.
Count me crazy, but I won't
buy a house that needs electricity to keep water from filling up the
basement, or one where it is expected that winds will destroy it, or
floods wash it away. There are enough places to live where such
occurances really WOULD be historic.

ReplyDeleteThank you for always being there, Freepers. Your casual hatred and insanity really helps me see that no matter how crappy my day has been, at least I'm not you.
