Politics do make strange bedfellows. I never thought I would see the day when the people at the Daily Kos and the Free Republic both supported the same candidate for president.
Kossacks say they will never vote for Romney over Obama, and the Freepers say they will never vote for Romney over Obama.
Should I expect to see coordinated efforts between Freepers and Kossacks to get Obama relected ?
Granted it is for different reasons. Kossacks believe Obama is more liberal than Romney, and Freepers apparently believe Obama would govern as more of a conservative than Romney, but still in the end Kossacks and Freepers both want the same thing and that is for Obama to be relected, rather than to have a Romney presidency.
Obama has already said himself that if he wins relection that he will move FAR to the left. Which says something considering how far to the left he already is.

I am not saying that Freepers are wrong about this, but personally I always saw Romney as someone who just was concerned about winning elections. In the last week I have heard Freepers call Jim Demint, Paul Ryan, John Bolton, Mike Lee and Marco Rubio all rinos. The tea party in general was called rinos. If they are all rinos, because they endorsed Romney than I dont know who is left that passes the Republican purity test with freepers.

All I Want For Christmas, President Palin
I just hope that in November 2012 we will elect Sarah Palin as President!
I was happy when Reagan got elected but will be even more so when Sarah is elected!
Our country is in worse shape now, and not just financially, but in losing our Freedoms!
I think Sarah will be a better President than Reagan, which will be hard, but that is what the dems fear!
Palin has already been a role model for women and women voted more Republican in the (mid terms) for the first time ever, because of Sarah!
Her family is normal vs Reagan's and she lives the Pro Life, always been conservative, and has given the media back as much as they give! She's more been vetted than Reagan was also!
I Know her Supreme court picks would be much better than Reagan's (W did better than Reagan)! A very lasting impact on the Country!
Alaska, 25 years from now will still be a Red state. Reagan's California sure turned Blue and he had no lasting effect on his own state,
Reagan did change the whole country towards the right once he became President, but Sarah has already done so!

With Barack Obama, I think we have a person who was raised to hate the United States from the word go. Both he and Clinton were/are evil players. They are evil from the core, and only do what comes naturally to those who adore communism. Both planned for years just what they would do when they became president. Obama had a long list of evil deeds and evil schemes to make sure he could implement his plans. He has no moral compass, and feels no guilt at all about what he is doing.
Then you have Sarah Palin. She is nothing like Clinton and Obama. She was raised right. She has some pretty good instincts. Sadly, her tutoring seems to have missed some very important key points.
You don’t support a United Nations plan to ‘take over’ the rule of the seas and insure a steady cash flow. You don’t reward villainy and treachery to register illegal immigrants and grant them permission to stay here and take jobs from Citizens and continue to sap the system dry. You don’t back a man like John McCain, even if you simply can’t grasp the complexities of the ways he has tried to harm the United States with some of the worst know Leftist players the world has ever seen.
Palin is a person who means well. I just don’t think she grasps what is going on in this nation today. I don’t think she has the slightest clue how bad some of the things and players McCain has been trying to do and do them with. Still, support for the man is support for the man, and intimates that as President she would give his council considerable respect. Thus we wouldn’t have McCain as president, but we would have his agenda on the fast track.
Palin agrees with McCain on the LOST Treaty. She agrees with him on border issues. She must agree with his ideas about cutting the military budget too, because she has said she agrees with his policies.
I have no choice but to try to avoid facing McCain or his influence in the White House. I don’t like it having to be this way, but we simply cannot support another person who is going to help implement the Democrat agenda, whether they realize that’s what they will be doing or not.
We either step up and pick a person better than McCain and who won’t listen to him, this time around, or we might just as well pack it in.
I don’t have to dislike someone to realize they are not what this nation needs right now. We need a person who does grasp who Soros is and what he is up to. We do need a person who can recognize a snake like McCain for who he is.
We do need a person who knows what people to support and what people to trivialize for the good of the nation.
I like Palin. I just don’t like the prospect of her becoming president. It saddens me to have to say that, but it is what I feel compelled to say for the good of our nation.
The sooner we can set our sights on someone who does understand these matters, the better.

Freeper "The Undefeated" Review
A couple of commenters requested I do one on "The Undefeated", the Sarah Palin documentary. Specifically they wanted to know how the Freepers are dealing with the films' lack of success. The answer? They're talking about how successful it is, obviously.

Had a great time seeing The Undefeated today with my wife. Her eyes were red from crying when we left. It was that powerful.

I too am a huge SP fan. I brought my wife and mother along. My mom still doesn’t believe she can win. My wife saw the movie as a 2 hour advertisement for Sarah. I saw it as pure inspiration. The 7:30 showing must have been sold out. The line was forming as we were leaving and it was about 20 strong. Spontaneous clapping (including me) happened during the (I think) CPAC speech excerpts. It was a great documentary which I highly recommend to all political stripes. (Two gay guys sat next to my mom.) I just want to say: Run Sarah Run!

Just saw it at the Block at Orange (CA). Pretty packed theater for a matinee. Everyone stood up an applauded at the end.
I, myself, was moved and uplifted at a time I really needed it. Barack Obama isn’t worthy of shining Sarah Palin’s shoes. She has accomplished far than he could ever dream of.
But what moved me most was her speeches. She knows what’s right for America and speaks of a love of this country even better than Ronald Reagan could. She is a amazing lady.
All I can say after seeing this film is Sarah has no choice. She has to run and she has to win. I really believe she is America’s last hope.

This next election could actually be the transformation of the USA - back to what our founders intended. When reading reviews, such as yours that say the audience applauds and cries, I am filled with hope and this honestly has made me cry. I think so, too. I hope that the film's producers and the distributors are taking notice of this spontaneous phenomenon. To tell you the truth, if Palin had entered the theater at that moment, I think the audience would have all started singing The Star Spangled Banner. It was truly a genuine outpouring of appreciation.
Just to show you how much Palin's message means to millions of Americans; there was an elderly woman who came in some time after my wife and I were seated. My eyes had grown accustomed to the gloom, and I watched as she was helped to her seat by a couple of younger relatives. I'm telling you, this lady could barely walk. It took several minutes to get her from the entrance, to her seat, which wasn't more than a distance of fifteen feet or so.
Even with her infirmities, she was furiously clapping at the end. Imagine the value that woman must place on Sarah's message, and the promise of her future leadership, to endure such pain to merely get a glimpse of her.
I looked at that old lady and knew that there was an American who sees Sarah through the eyes of someone who knows better than most, what America is supposed to be. That woman clearly sees something in Sarah that resonates inside her - a something that has nearly been lost to us.
It was a poignant and moving sight for me.

I was raised around older people. They have a perspective today that many of even my generation (Gen X) lack because
#1 they actually got to live in an America that was a lot closer than we are now to that ‘America” was intended to be. No, it wasn’t perfect by a long shot, but it was ‘closer’ with all that implies.
#2 To ensure we kept speeding AWAY from that mindset, Libs have literally altered/rewrote the history books and removed critical thought and logic from the school curriculum. It ensures that even if some curious student breaks their conditioning today and ‘wants’ to ‘look back’ for answers, that they will get the version of history the libs want portrayed.
It’s a long winded route to the exact thing you said...That woman knew the truth then and she recognizes it today. My addition would be that people today CANNOT recognize it when they see it...by design. And we see that played out daily IRL.

I just had breakfast with my high school friend who now lives in Milwaukee who was in town. She asked who I liked for President and I said Bachmann or Sarah Palin. She said Bachmann was okay but Palin was a nut. By the time I was done talking to her, she had a new-found respect for Palin and said she will definately look into Palin. I told her she listens to too much msm. And I told her to read Palin’s first book and see The Undefeated.

'I can win': Sarah Palin on Cover of Newsweek
Before we continue, I want to mention that I have a new job, which is why these posts are a little slow right now. But once I adjust, I'm sure that we'll be back to our regularly scheduled derp.

A shetland pony should be able to win against Obama. He has made such huge messes. But a shetland pony is not running and neither is Palin. I hope she does run. I believe that not only will she stomp Obama in to the ground it will be the biggest defeat we have seen in modern history.

This NEWSWEEK cover is the only I’ve seen where Sarah looks her age, and is supposed to look her age, and the glamor seems stripped from her.

Reagan, Jefferson, TR (for better or for worse), Ford, Truman, and even George W. left the office with more or less their same energy level they had when they entered.
It will age you for sure, but if one is ready for it, the aging will be slight and not debilitating.

C-c-c-combo breaker: "Iowa: Governor Palin to Attend Premier of “The Undefeated” in Pella on June 28th"
Summary: Palin's new documentary (ironically titled "The Undefeated") is debuting in Pella, Iowa, with Palin and fam in attendance.
So. This happens Tuesday the 28th, in Pella, one day after Michele Bachmann announces (for the second time) in Waterloo 80 miles away. And people still think Gov. Palin, the GOP VP nominee in 2008, isn’t running?

Beautyful, she still hasn’t announced but this event and the media hysteria which will follow it will make her the most talked about politician in Iowa if she already isn’t.
This is the kind of media exposure that millions are spent to obtain and all the rest of the field will be busting their humps to pick up a dozen votes or so here and there.
If any of them are really smart, they will come to the premier as will thousands from across the midwest.
The Announced will be toting that barge and lifting that bale while Sarah waltzes around them all drawing at least hundreds of times of people. I LOVE it. Her campaign is starting to show signs of brilliance.

If she's planning it, she is playing it smart. She's standing in the wings watching the prospects fall like birds in a windmill farm.
Watching her on interviews and speeches, she seems to know as much about the Consitition, foreign policy, and such as any of the other candidates, and she is far ahead of all of them on ENERGY...which is a very, big deal to Americans.
I believe she will be an up-front, honest, and hard working president and will have no fear of her enemies, foreign or domestic.
I don't know that if there is anything to it, but if that is her plan, it's pretty smart.

Sarah told me it will be August 12th, 2011. Maybe she changed her mind. In any event, she will crush the competition. She has more energy and spunk that most who are running, or thinking of running.
