This is an example of what our poor Governor has had to put up with for the last year. But, I have to admit that I can see no reason for such violent rhetoric in ILLINOIS against the Wisconsin Governor, who has no say over Illinois wages whatsoever.

I would venture to say that most black churches (of whatever denomination) are nothing more than liberal, socialist, welfare, pro-union, pro-homo/lesbian, pro-Islamic, social gospel, black liberation type of theology. That includes the Black churches on TBN as well. Did God Establish Obama's Presidency?
"...Romans says all rulers are established by God. So what does established mean and was Obama, "established by God"? My opinion is established may literally mean, "allowed to happen", or, "didn't prevent it from happening". I have a hard time as a Christian believing a deceiving, white man hating dictator would be put in place by God."

When the ruler screws up, it is the people who suffer God's wrath.

That being said... I sincerely fear God's fair and equitable judgment against those who choose to turn away from Him.

Prayer Thread For Our Country and Tomorrow's Voting
Post: Kids, it's time to get REAL serious with our prayers for tomorrow's voting. We all know what's at stake here. Obama the socialist, Romney with the socialist-light (cough) agenda.
Our children, grandchildren, WWII vets and their wives...deserve better than what they're getting, or if this whole thing goes south, with what we're ALL going to get!
There is SUCH a darkness hanging over this land. God Himself gave this to us and we've squandered it. I don't know if we've reached the point of no return with Him or not.
All I ask is that we ALL get on our knees and pray for forgiveness. Pray that He will heal our land.
Lord GOD, please heal this land, please forgive us our sins, please let us have ONE MORE CHANCE to stand as men and women of faith and never EVER let this happen again. Father...hear our prayers. In Your Name, Amen

Prayer and changed heart is the only real hope for our nation. In it's darkest days of it's founding a General later to become our nations first President was seen kneeling in private prayer at Valley Forge. His troops lacked food and provisions for the winter. But The Lord provided.
Our nation has taken a very severe moral decline the depths of which unseen since it's founding. There has always been immoral persons. But it is the heart of this nation as a people which is growing cold. The nation which has allowed the very government we elect to remove all mention of our creator GOD from our nation.
I'm not a Biblical Scholar by any stretch. But I read in The Bible where nations were judged and what they were being judged for. We are in serious jeopardy of our nation being judged and I don't say that lightly. Our leaders in a very real sense are our judgment. So has it been through the ages.

As the morning now approaches we are very much mindful of the opportunity to bring to you the voters of this day who will be selecting a candidate at the ballot box...we ask you give them wisdom to discern the significance of this election and all which stands in the balance for our country.
Lord, we believe fully that you raise up the leaders of all nations , just as your word does say....we also recognize that this is sometimes to correct us for having refused your rightful place among us..... Forgive us Lord for not seeing or standing as we should for you when it was time that we should have......but we are doing so now... and this to give you back the Glory of this Nation under Your sovereignty and leadership once again.
Choose then Lord, the man who will best serve your purposes.... for You, for this country and it's citizens...that we may once again BE One Nation Under God.
In Christ's name, who redeemed us from death, also now do so for our country....Amen.

It’s not only morally that this nation has stooped so low....but in every area of life . And I’m not so sure it’s the bad peoples fault....we’ve let it happen by not taking stands in force when we should have.
We’re all afraid to make judgement calls on that which should not be tolerated...and we let them use the “Don’t Judge” stance which is nonesense. We are called to make righteous judgements as His ambassadors to a dying world, yet at every turn the peoples hands and mouths are sealed by stupid and frivilous laws and lawyers eager til fill their coffers with bogus lawsuits against the common man.
I was told not to interfer again after I had interferred when a father was abusing his son in my place of business or I would loose my job if the father sued the company. well you know what...I told them if I was faced again with that situation I would act accordingly just as I had done this time. They were silent and I am still working.

Praying continually for G-D to forgive us of our national sins and that He would not turn His face away from our nation. Rather I pray that He would smile on us and raise up the right leader to restore us as One Nation Under G-D. I'm convinced that Newt is that leader.

“He was disturbed and offended by the president’s use of prayer and reflection time for partisan politics and class warfare,” Talaber said. “Rep. Gingrey enjoyed listening to the keynote speaker and found the breakfast to be inspiring until President Obama began politicking.”
Nobody can ever accuse any Ubama of having one shred of class.

Pagan mom challenges Bibles in North Carolina school (Barf Alert)
For those of you haven't heard the story, a Wiccan mother's kid came home with a bible. When she called the school asking why, they explained that bibles were donated to the school for the children, and they'd do the same with any donated books. The mother showed up the next day with some Wiccan spellbooks, and now their policy towards religious texts is under review.
“But when Strivelli showed up at the school with pagan spell books, she was turned away.”
Because making potions and drinking them or making others drink them is dangerous.
This is common sense.

Texas restaurant gives Muslim patron 'Happy September 11th' message

Summary: Muslim guy and his buddy go to watch a game at their local bar in Texas. Halfway through the game, they decide to watch the rest at home so he orders a burger. The bartender delivers it in a container with the words "HAPPY SEPT. 11" written on it, with a plane flying towards the 11. Gov. Christie Defends Appointing Muslim Judge: ‘This Sharia Law Business Is Crap’
Summary: Christie flips out at a reporter for suggesting a Muslim judge is a risky choice because of Sharia law.
Note: Freepers who previously seemed pretty anti-Muslim were defending Christie's decision here. Only a few of them, granted, but still. I was pretty surprised, but I think he actually made a difference in how some people think about Islam.

'Ground Zero Mosque' Clears Legal Hurdle to Build

Reconciling Ayn Rand with the Gospel
