(LIVE THREAD!) Republican Presidential Debate #4

"Can the debate be viewed on the internet anywhere? We don’t get MSNBC."

Yes. Click the source link. That's where MSNBC claims they'll post the live internet stream.

*

What I want to hear discussed, is what each candidate will do to put an end to the islamiztion of America.

I’m pretty sure we will go through the whole campaign without hearing this issue addressed in any detail if at all.

In my estimation, it is the number one, most threatening problem facing America, now and far into the future.

*

Reagan Library and MSNBC in same sentence and MSNBC debate and Reagan Library = Yuck! Sounds like Ron Jrs doing, they let him guest host last week for someone as payback!

Go Perry and Cain, seem to be favorites of mine from this group. Also, I guess Santorum and Bachman aren't bad.

I wish Thad McCotter was there, if nothing else he can, in a humorous, disarming way tell msnbc to go to hell. Like him or not, he has that quality. ALL of the candidates should find a way to put msnbc in it's place, showing a bit of Republican cohesion against the TV arm of the Obama administration.

Nancy Reagan seems to like Marco Rubio -- VP? Just my observations. And last but not least, reading your little bios, maybe he was a good doctor but Ron Paul as my GYN — Eek!!!

*

I think I’ll just watch BOR. That’s how much I hate MSNBC.

*

Perry did well on the first question, IGNORED THE BIAS and gave the answer HE wanted to give.

*

Romney and Perry or any other public serpent can’t create jobs. Why are they arguing this? Dukakis creating more jobs blah blah.

They can destroy jobs. They can only create them by getting out of the way.

*

Smart of the MSM to put them in front of all that red.
They either look like demons talking from Hell or look like they are mad no matter what they say.
In other words they all look scary and isn't that what the Dems are going for,”scary Republicans out to kill granny and starve baby?”

*

WOW! Hermain Cain goes into detail like a college professor!

*

This questions are all FRAMED AS ATTACKS ON THE GOP CANDIDATES! Just as I thought it would be. They won’t even let them discuss the DISASTER THAT IS OBAMA!

*

I wish Michelle had worn something other than black. She looks like the rest of the dudes on stage.

*

Imho, Sarah Palin is DAMNED SMART to avoid this dog-n-pony show right now.....

*

I almost made a comment that Paul’s head was shaking like he had been drinking.

I think he is the only one of the entire group who was actually not a private sector job creator. He is a coffee shop philosopher.

*

I can’t stand huntsman. He reminds me so much of obama.

*

Back to the Bush/Kerry "who would you rather have a beer with", Cain is the guy I want to invite over for lunch after church. However, I don't think he's ready for the White House yet but would love to see him as VP with a mandate to create jobs. Congress thought they hated Chenney, Cain would make them long for the days of Darth Vader.

*

Newt just took the dimwit moderators to task and schooled them... all are there to defeat OBAMA.

*

have you considered that many younger Americans don’t see a point in health insurance? I’m 33. It’s my right to gamble I won’t need it right now. Why should I be forced to give my money over to something I haven’t needed for a decade?

*

“Newt understands that beating Obama is easy, it’s the MSM they are running against.”

EXACTLY. I’m hoping that the GOP candidates are on an email thread together somewhere agreeing what the priorities are....

*

WTF!!!!!

I THOUGHT IT WAS AT 9 !!!

DAMN FOX,THEY NEVER DAID IT WAS ON AND AREN’T SHOWING IT!!!

I AM SO MAD!!

--- Ha, the channel that was horrified that Obama would dream of holding his speech on the same night as the debate apparently didn't think the debate was worthy of mention?

*

“That is hogwash. Rubio and Jindal are qualified.”

LOLOLOL Yes, you are right....each are guality Conservative people with good skill sets. I judge them to have the qualities I’d like to see in a president........

But the issue is Constitutional eligibility.

Neither meets Article II requirements.

Sorry bub, but the truth is painful sometimes.

*

Having MSNBC show a tribute to Ronald Reagan is like having Hitler emcee a bar mitzvah.

*

"Anyone else getting weepy at this tribute to Reagan? I am. I’m 34 and Reagan is the first President I can remember."

I always get weepy.

I knew he was great then.

I know better how really great he was, now.

Imagine a President who actually loves his country again.

*

I’ll admit to a lump in my throat during that tribute. Not only for the Reagans, but for the reminder of what a decent, pro-American presidency was.

*

Romney: this President is a nice guy, he just doesn’t have a clue how to get this country running (paraphrase)

Uh...NO, he is NOT a “nice guy”.

*

MSLSD is deliberately avoiding giving Cain much face time. They still want to perpetuate the illusion of a “racist” GOP and Tea Party.

*

Williams with another attack on Perry. Education this time. Atleast Perry points out the illegal immigration issue this time.

Let me say, OBAMA HAS NEVER FACED THIS KIND OF QUESTIONING!

*

Perry just missed an opportunity to explain educational issues in Texas — when the students don’t speak English it’s hard to teach them anything.

*

Palin is licking her chops watching this thing tonight.........

*

It is not accidental that Americans do not know about the successful Chilean retirement system. They privatized it about 3 decades ago, and people were able to retire very comfortably.

*

Any words of sympathy from The Won about Texas on fire?

*

"I am just glad Sarah stayed away from this hit on the repubublican’s by MSNBC, what a waste of time."

These guys all need the face-time - Sarah does not - once she's all in, all eyes will be on her, not these guys.........

*

"Sarah Palin thinks she's going to pick up an advantage by not attending?? And not declaring??

I think she missed the boat. "

of course it’s an advantage. Palin has never seen Rick Perry in this kind of context before! Better that she studies the whole picture and strategizes.

Meanwhile Texas burns.

*

I want to know where they stand on 'sharia law' - in America. . .how they feel about radical Islamists/connections in our White House? How do they feel about 9/11 being transformed - by Obama; the Muslim Hearted; into a national day of 'service' rather than rememberance; and where ALL victims (yes, we know who they are) are celebrated?

In a word or two; how the hell do they feel about the disappearance of 'America' and American values? And what are they going to do; to help restore our Country?

My message to candidates: It's NOT JUST THE ECONOMY!

*

Bachmann just spanked them all on globull worming! She aptly pointed out that Obama just had to reign in the EPA or suffer a 20 percent cut in coal fired plants.

*

Maybe it’s been the horror of the Obama years, maybe it’s just that the 8 Bush years were a fabulous time in my life but there is something about Perry reminding me of W that makes me nostalgic.

*

Ahhhggghhh they cut to Rachel Maddow after the debate and I couldn’t shut it down fast enough! My eyes! My eyes!

*

It does take a lot more than talk to make a Conservative. Words mean absolutely nothing to me any longer... obama killed that off forever. What does matter is record and actions... and most of those people... not all of them... but most on that stage tonight are not Conservatives... and those that are have such serious flaws as to disqualify them. Cain was the only one last night that was on that stage that I can trust or would vote for today.

*

Of course Sarah is running, tonight proved that her approach is the perfect one in this kind of environment.

  3. I'd like to sit these people down and ask them what "Islamification of America" actually means and where the evidence of this comes from. Do they just mean "Muslims are living in America"? Or do they fear some kind of radical change in society based on the Islam religion?

If it's the latter, what exactly does Islam portray that is not also included in the Holy Bible?
