My guess is that was much of the reason for pushing this issue so hard -in the long range deconstructing of the military by the left. Military has been for most intense purposes as of late a jobs program and is moving away from it's intended purpose.
I have spoken with several enlisted troops and there are many, many people serving that don't give a rat's a** about gay's serving. More concerned about what they will get out of it via benefits down the road.

Appeals court: Same-sex marriage ban unconstitutional [Calif]
So do the homosexuals get to “marry” now, pending the Supreme Court? Or do they have to wait? Anyone know?

The state constitution is unconstitutional because it bans a form of sham marriage that is banned by a federal law and not addressed in the United States Constitution? Only the 9th Circuit could make that up.

Our Senate Legislature in Washington State just approved QUEER marriage. Now it goes to the House and the governor said she would sign it. They said we have until June to get 130,000 signatures for an initiative to get in on the ballot for the people to vote on, but now with the 9th saying it is unconstitutional to not permit QUE ER marriage, what good would voting on it do us?
I am sick in my heart what is happening to our country.

Well that does it. My wife has family in CA. She has been wanting to move back to Thousand Oaks, CA for 5 years now....but is smart enough to realize that it would be insane. I’d rather move to Yuma, AZ and commute to San Diego than become a citizen of CA, where it seems (according to his ruling) that there is no more reason to even have vote if you are conservative.

No one who actually understands the concept of marriage-or for that matter the unsanctified procreational mating procedures of other warm blooded creatures--can possibly see this as anything but absurd. Human marriage customs & procedures reflect an understanding of the multi-generational function & purpose of a species. Marriage is our way to sanctify the process. Not surprisingly, therefore, unconsummated marriages have been subject to annulment, even in societies that explicitly outlaw every form of divorce.
Marriage has never been simply a way to sanctify friendship. Nor has anyone ever suggested that friends of the same sex marry, to prove their ties of a lifetime. And yet what else do people of the same sex have to even suggest that they should marry, today? Only an act that most other people find offensive--one or another of muscular acts intended to simulate feelings that may mimic sexual feelings ("sexual" relating not to the feelings, but to the division of the species into sexes, for procreation and continuity).
Again, is this whole agitation--and this Court decision--not totally in the theater of the absurd?!!
As for the demand for "equal rights?" Where is there any right for anyone to force society to jump down the rabbit hole with Alice? But then my metaphor fails, when put in juxta-position with my first paragraph.

IMHO this is reason #1, above all else, why Comrade Zero has got to go. I can only imagine the destruction he will cause if he gets another round of judicial appointments, esp. a USSC vacancy. I don’t see all of the Fab Five holding out another 4 years.

I am sick of liberals extending natural rights, given from God and enumerated in the Constitution, to behavior and ideology to advance their own causes and inclinations...and in an effort to overthrow the constitution to which they swore an oath to faithfully uphold and defend.
The American people, to avoid the hell of chaos and downfall and implosion such trends will inevitably lead to, simply must throw off the political class that has encumbered us and elect American statemen to office who revere and will hold inviolate the fundmanetal moral values upon which this nation and its constitution was founded.
And those are Christian principles and have defined the very reason why America has been so tolerant of so many who have come to these shores. But when those here want that tolerance to extend to the destruction of what has kept the peace, made us free, defined our prosperity and strength as a nation, that we cannot, nay we MUST not tolerate, but fight with every resource at our disposal

Openly gay Miss California USA contestants make history
This is indeed “historic.” We should rejoice at such “progress.”

I've been personally acquainted with several actual homosexually perverted females over the years.
Some of them are scary.
Most make my skin crawl.
NONE of them are remotely attractive, except (presumably) to each other.
In many cases, the unattractiveness seems to be a deliberate choice.

Ugly is “in”; beauty is out. Evil is in. Goodness is out.
Interesting times we live in.

Here's the problem. When you see "do's" like this, you know they are screwed up in many ways.
And they commit suicide from bullying?
I'll bet 100 to 1, they are disgusted with themselves for ever engaging in that lifestyle but there really isn't any way you can step BACK in time...

I saw a nice, sweet, pretty girl slowly get sucked into lesbianism. She slowly became more and more perverted.
I then saw her convert one other girl, this girl came up to me and told me she thought she was doing wrong. I tried to help both of them but once a lesbian has you in doubt they will stop at nothing to convert you.
Now, this girl who used to be a friend actively tries to find things she can do that are against god. Literally if its good, she makes fun of it and does the opposite.

And why is that so many TV shows now insist on including gay men in their character story lines? There are not that many gay men in our population. Talk about being inundated...and propagandized.
Don’t you also kinda wonder why lesbians are so under represented? Power to the Lesbos! But then [their appearance] may be the reason why.

I think that their suicide rates are more to do with their internal thinking (as you stated above), not so much a "disgust" with their past actions. I think some people are ostracized because they are "different," and most of those who are ostracized (probably all of us at different times in our lives), simply continue on to live their lives without ever thinking about those who cast us aside. However, there are those who are so NARCISSISTIC (homosexuality is the epitome of narcissism) they think the world should revolve around them and when reality kicks down their charade, they can't handle it! How many schizophrenics commit suicide? A very LARGE number do! Why? Because when their reality cannot explain the truth which others and they themselves start to see, they cannot cope!

2 women share 1st kiss at US Navy ship's return
A Navy tradition has caught up with the repeal of the "don't ask, don't tell" rule on gays serving openly in the U.S. military. The Navy said two women shared the coveted "first kiss" Wednesday when the USS Oak Hill returned home to its Virginia base. Marissa Gaeta of Pacerville, Calif., descended from the ship and shared a quick kiss with her partner, Citlalic (SEET-lah-leek) Snell of Los Angeles.

Her job was in the film dept and the place was overrun with Hollywood celebs (she fondly recalled taking the bus in with Gene Kelly singing and dancing all the way) - but she mentioned one time that a notorious hollywood lesbian came in and grabbed one of the girls and gave her a kiss and the room just froze. She wouldn’t tell me the name of the actress, but used to say “You’ve seen her in films for sure.”

Only way we can win against homosexuality
Today's post goes out to a friend of mine who is coming out this week. May their children grow up in a world with fewer fucktards.
The sad part about homos&lesbians is that so many Republicans are pro-homosexual. Too many people who call themselves conservatives are apologists for homosexuality including those who say they're Christian. In 1981, you would have found both Democrats & Republicans opposed to homosexuality. There was such a thing as Democrats in Name Only who opposed homosexuality, but since Sam Nunn, there hasn't been a major Democrat opposed to homos & lesbians. Not many DINOS, but plenty of RINOS.
In 1991, the Log Cabin Republicans would have been viewed as a fring group with regard to homosexuality, but sadly, so many Repblicans believe the homosexual agenda. It incl. commentators such as Bill O'Reilly, former President George Bush Jr, SeanP. Hannity, etc. MOre Republicans are also supporting the sex change maimings & transexuals are worse than the homos.
The only chance that we have to win the discussion against homosexulaity/GID is for a cure be it drug, surgery or pill to cure homos&lesbians. But we need to get updated in that too many Republicans agree with President Obama on the homo issue. Too many people who call themselves 'evangelical Christians' (I'm not Judeo-Christian but that's unrelated)are apologists for homosexuality. The fact that a Mormon such as former Utah Gov. John Huntsman & Presidential candidate would be an apologist for homosexuality & support civil unions which would have been unheard of in 1991 must be a concern.
Have we lost the discussion against homosexuality? Do you agree with me that the only way we can win is for a cure to be found for homosexuality because while I don't know if there are any DINO's in office in 2011, there are so many RINOs? Please inform.

After decades of research, science still doesn't support the born-that-way theory. In fact scientists who just so happen to be homosexual have stated environment is the major factor and have stated they don't believe science will ever support the born-that-way theory.

But when I see perversion in public I am deeply offended. It offends me when an employer is forced by law to consider an obvious pervert for employment. It also offends me when laws are passed giving special protections/privileges to perverts.

Can't Even Go to the Park

Summary: Stay at home mom feels like she can't take her kids to public places anymore because of all the gay couples they encounter.
Get your kids out of the big urban areas and stop whining!

Good Post. My community is a haven for the homeless. Now, I have compassion for them, I volunteered for two years with my churches homeless ministry, every saturday night. I had to stop to spend more time with my kids.
Now it’s gotten to where I wouldn’t even take my kids to the library, or go to the park.
My idea of government is to have a community where we can all feel safe. If I’m the one paying the tax dollars, but I can’t use the library or the park, or even walk down the street after dark and feel safe, is that justice? Is that the role of government? There is a balance, but the pendulum has swung to far to favoring the unwise and unhealthy over those that just want to raise their kids and pay their bills. We need to restore a balance that says - ok we want to help you, but we’re not going to allow to run roughshod over the rights of others just because you happen to be poor, which may or may not be the result of your own choices.

Here is what you do - get the hell out of queerville. Find a nice small town in the midwest. Try Wyoming for starters.

What we do need is to be able to comment and verbally chastise such acts in public as private citizens without fear of being charged with a “hate crime” for expressing our 1st amendment rights.

Take pictures of these sodomites and post the pictures on the Internet and all around your community with a description of what these Sodomites are doing in your park.
When you see them fondeling each other in your park, you should call the police and file a complaint.
Finally, if you have their names, you can file suit against them and your city for violating your First Amendment Rights to freely practice your religion.
Be strong. If nothing else works, you should stand up in your park and at your loudest and strongest voice demand that the sodomites leave your park.
